Gig Review | Eskimo Soup and the Raphaelites
On Saturday 21st of April a quality band named Eskimo Soup from Barry played their very first gig at the Dockers along side the Raphaelites. The gig was open to a large amount of people, selling one hundred and ten tickets with people still paying at the door. The two bands that originated from the Barry area stole the night with their guitar driven youth expression and the Raphaelites kicking it all off with a successful bang.
The Raphaelites set the bar high with their power pop/punk/rock style of music, performing fantastic covers and quality tracks they has written and produced themselves. After entertaining the vigorous crowd Eskimo Soup took over and played with their souls to keeping the buzz high and keep it they did!
Eskimo Soup is a band focused on rock pop and indie style music, who are dedicated to their song writing capability and instruments, performing mostly their own hand crafted music such as “donkey lover” and “I’m gone”.
For £2 a ticket or £3 at the door you couldn’t go wrong a fantastic night of performances contributed by both acts, which tore the roof off. The two bands have am exciting future in entertainment like this and for their sake I hope they continue.
