The hugely popular May Day Fayre is returning to the Cogan rec near Penarth Leisure Centre (MAP) on Monday the 7th of May between 2pm and 5pm.
It promises to be bigger and better than ever before with lots of games, stalls, entertainment, and tasty treats for all ages to enjoy. Admission to the Fayre remains free and this great family day out will this year include an amazing Mini Olympics competition which 11-14 and 15-18 year olds can enter for just £1 each. There will be trophies to be won.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go to Breast Cancer Care. This vital charity works extremely hard to provide valuable help and support to all those affected by breast cancer. The money that this event raises will therefore help them continue this important work. The May Day Fayre event is being run as part of IgniteHope 2012, in partnership and with support from several Penarth Churches and other organisations.
