With 1 in 4 adults, and 1 in 10 young people aged 5-16 suffering from some type of mental health problem, the Welsh Government has committed itself to being at the forefront of providing the best mental health care across the country.

The Together for Mental Health strategy focuses on addressing the needs of people with mental health illnesses and as part of the strategy, is looking for young people to give their thoughts on how mental health issues should be tackled and how best to improve the overall mental health of those living in Wales.

Young people are encouraged to check out the consultation document here, and fill out the sections provided to give feedback on the document and its aims.

This is an important step in helping young people who may have mental health issues by offering support in places like schools and give advice and support on living a well balanced life.

If you want to have your say, please click this link to read the young person friendly document and get your views heard.
